Obituary: Mrs. Voncile Bowman Senn
Mrs. Voncile Bowman Senn went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ, Wednesday, January 25, 2017. She was 84.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at Piney Grove Assembly of God Church with Rev. Thomas Harrison and Rev. Eric Norris officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m.
At all other times the family will receive friends at the home of Mrs. Marilyn Baxter, 116 Forest Ave. Enterprise, AL 36330.
Mrs. Senn was born February 15, 1932 in Dale County to the late William L. and Clara Belle Morris Bowman. Voncile loved her family and friends very much. She possessed a gentle spirit and a great love for others. She was a woman of faith and very active in the local church where she taught Sunday school, lead the youth group and directed Christmas plays for many years.
In addition to her parents, three sisters, the father of her children, a very special niece and a daughter-in-law preceded her in death.
She is survived by four daughters: Linda Henderson (Jerry), Marilyn Baxter (Mickey), Laura Jean Senn (Clarence) and Brenda Sanders; two sons: James Lamar Senn (Elisabeth) and Donnie Senn; four grandsons: Scotty Sanders, Jeremy Sanders (Joanie), William Senn and Brit B. Senn; three step grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; close friend, Maggie White; several nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
