Mrs. Voncile “Tince” Fountain of Dothan passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at Flowers Hospital. She was 76.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 11, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Christian Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Black, AL with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Fountain was born on February 16, 1936 in Hartford, AL to the late Jasper and Gussie Skipper Enfinger. She was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother and she always enjoyed cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Malone (Buck) Fountain; her parents; a grandson: Paul Crooks; and a brother: Gene Enfinger.
Survivors include her two daughters: Laura (Charles) Roark and Vera Crooks of Dothan; two sons: Steven (Marisol) Fountain of Atlanta, Bobby (Teresa) Fountain of Hartford; one sister: Pat (Rickey) Mace of Orlando; seven brothers: Gordon (Racine) Enfinger, Bobby (Sandy) Enfinger both of Georgia, Rickey (Tammy) Enfinger, Glendale (Lora) Enfinger, Wayne (Linda) Enfinger all of Alabama, Danny (Debbie) Enfinger and Rogers (Phyllis) Enfinger both of Florida; special nephew: Billy Wayne (Peggy) Enfinger of Alabama; sister-in-law: Carolyn Enfinger Alabama; 11 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; lots of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Pheiffer, Dr. Craven, Dr. Day, Flowers Hospital staff and nurses, Care South nurses and physical therapists and Hanger Prosthetics.
