Mrs. Wanoska “Bill” Jenkins Harbin, a life-long resident of Ozark, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the age of 71.
A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Harbin at Parkhill Cemetery in Columbus, Georgia at a later date. However, condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark has been entrusted with the arrangements.
Mrs. Harbin was born in Ozark on January 18, 1951 to the late Otis Kelly Jenkins and Johnnie Mae Johns Jenkins Sketoe. Bill worked for many years alongside her husband at Harbin Jewelers in Ozark, and was also involved in campaigning for Bob Riley’s election to governor of the State of Alabama. She was a life-long, die-hard Alabama Crimson Tide fan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving, devoted husband of 42 years, Gary Lane Harbin.
She is survived by two sisters, Omega Dianna Donald and Meredith Saunders (Brian); numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to her devoted caregivers, Sandra Casey and Rosie Daffin. Also, thanks to Kindred Hospice for their support and care during Bill’s last weeks.
