Mrs. Willa Mae Perez of Geneva, Alabama passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013. She was 71.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home in Geneva with Ken Lefler delivering the funeral discourse. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continue until service time.
Mrs. Perez was born August 15, 1941, in Lyons, Georgia to the late William and Eula Mae Bell Braddy. She was a wonderful wife, mother, nana, and friend. She will be missed by all whose lives have been touched by her. Live, Love and Laugh was the way she lived her life.
In addition to her parents nine brothers, two sisters and a grandson all preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Santiago Perez, Geneva; six children: Michael R. Perez (Rena), Panama City, FL, Suzanne B. Perez, Clermont, FL, Stephen W. Perez, Geneva, Margaret Lynn Kirkland (Gary), Crystal River, FL, Sylvia E. Winslow (David), Salt Springs, FL and Joshua E. Perez, Geneva; one sister, Barbara Ann Palmer, Georgia; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
