Mrs. Wilma K. Smith, of Level Plains, passed away on Friday, December 15, 2017 at Flowers Hospital.  She was 70.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2017 in the chapel of Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory in Enterprise with Rev. Mike Foreman officiating.  Burial will follow in Meadowlawn Cemetery with Sorrells Funeral Home & Crematory directing.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday beginning at 1:00 and continuing until service time.

 

Wilma was born April 9, 1947, in Barbour County.  She worked for many years at Fort Rucker.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert A. Stafford and Naomi Woodard Stafford; daughter, Denise Holley; and brother, Ronnie Stafford.

 

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Raymond Smith of Level Plains; son, Derek Smith (Jennifer) of Madison; three grandchildren: Emily Smith, Brandon Mott, and Michael Mott; sister-in-law, Lorraine Stafford of Headland; two nieces: Ashli Stafford and Korie Brashears; numerous other family members.
