Mrs. Gladys Lucille Wells of Newton passed away Friday, September 28, 2012, at her residence. She was 94.


 


Funeral services will be held at 2:30  P.M. Sunday, September 30, 2012, at the Goodwater Freewill Baptist Church with Reverends Mark Turner and Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.


 


The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 P.M. Saturday, September 29, 2012. Flowers will be accepted.


 


Mrs. Wells is preceded in death by her parents, Homer Gilley and Nora Brannon Gilley, husbands, Buck Kiser and Harvey Wells, sons, Earl and Bill Kiser, grandson, Bruce Wood, and granddaughter, Teresa Kiser.


 


Survivors include her children, Polly (Charles) Wood, Bob Kiser, Junior (Wanda) Wells, Johnny Mack Wells, Linda (Rex) Bowen, Gerald Wells, George (Kathleen) Wells, brothers, James Gilley, Ralph Gilley, nineteen grandchildren, fifty two great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.


 


Pallbearers will be Scott Kiser, Freddie Kiser, Tim Wood, Jeff Wells, Gary Wells, and Chad Wells.


 


A special thanks to the staff of Southern Care Hospice for their love and support.
