Ms. Adawna “Donna” Faye Bond of Wicksburg passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 as a result of an automobile accident.  She was 29.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 21, in Sorrells Funeral Home Chapel in Slocomb with Rev. Buddy Hood officiating and with Sorrells Funeral Home of Slocomb directing. 

Ms. Bond was born on October 15, 1982 in Houston County, AL to Jerry Marx and Patricia Peterson Bond.  She was a member of Slocomb First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her parents, one daughter:  Jade Cameron of Wicksburg; one son:  Jaxon Bodiford of Wicksburg; paternal grandparents:  Jimmie Frank and Willie Jo Bond of Wicksburg; maternal grandparents:  Fred and Janice Peterson of Slocomb; two brothers:  Joey Marx Bond (Karen) of Wicksburg, James Edward Bond (Ashley) of Wicksburg; two nieces and one nephew.
