Amanda Melissa Daniels, a resident of Dothan, went home to be with the Lord Sunday, June 2, 2013 at her residence. She was 30.

Funeral services for Amanda will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2013 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage with Chaplain Willie Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Hill Cemetery with Southern Heritage directing. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 6 PM until 8 PM at the funeral home.

Amanda was born to the late Charles Wayne Daniels and Martha Pearl Bowen Daniels Steward. She was a 2001 graduate of Ridgecrest Christian School and Chipola College’s RN program. Amanda was employed at the Southeast Alabama Medical Center where she loved being a nurse. She loved to read, play computer games, watch old movies and spend time with her family. Amanda was a wonderful caring daughter to her mother, Pearl, a loving sister to her brother, Aaron, a joy to all her friends and aunts and uncles and a blessing to everyone she knew.

Amanda is survived by her mother and step father, Pearl Daniels Steward and Donnie, Dothan; brother, Aaron Daniels, Panama City; aunts, Clara Jones (Terry), Melbourne, Fl, Effie Mae Carter, Jackson county, FL, Sarah Connor, Pensacola, FL; uncles, Ryan Bowen, Dothan, Simon Bowen (Linda), Birmingham, Charles Bowen (Joyce), Madison, AL; great aunts, Juanita Wiggins (Charles), Spanish Fort, AL, Sarah Poates, Hanover, PA, Mary Bowen, Ashford.
