Ms. Faye Shirah of Vernon, FL passed away Sunday, November 5, 2017. She was 68.

Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Thursday, November 9, 2017 at the Ward Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Royce Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Cemetery with Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 to 2 P.M. Thursday, November 9, one hour prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to Oak Valley Assisted Living, 4488 Hwy 79, Vernon, FL. 32462.

Ms. Shirah loved to crochet and enjoyed puzzles. She was a very giving person.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wilsie and Edna Newsome, son Scott Shirah, brother Jimmy Newsome, sister Brenda Ashton

Survivors include daughter Renae Kelly (Jackie), sons Greg Shirah (Sheryl), Jason Shirah (Ashley), sisters Joann Killingsworth, Wanda Willis (Wayne), Edie Finch, brother Joe Newsome (Vicky), grandchildren Jessica (Mike) Russell, Kimberly Shirah, April (Bryan) Sunderland, Greg (Brittney) Shirah, II, Kristina Shirah, Angelica (Gavin) Gillbert, Justin (Anna Mills) Kelly, Hannah Shirah, and Emma Shirah; great-grandchildren Antonio Sunderland, William Sunderland, Isabella Shirah, Gabriel Shirah, Scott Shirah, Wyatt Whitman.
