Ms. Hilda Sue Stuckey of Ozark, formerly of the Morgan Baptist Church community near Skipperville, passed away November 15, 2016 at the Flowers Hospital.  She was 88.



Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Morgan Baptist Church, Skipperville, AL, with Reverend Tim Sewell officiating.  Burial will immediately follow the service at Beersheba Cemetery with Fuqua-Bankston Funeral Home directing.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 until 11:30 at Morgan Baptist Church the day of the service.  Flowers will be accepted but the family requests contributions be made to the Morgan Baptist Church, care of Ms. Betty Watson, 186 White Oak Bend, Ozark, AL 36360, or Rhonda Watson, Beersheba Cemetery Fund, 3684 County Road 333, Skipperville, AL.



Ms. Stuckey was very active in Morgan Baptist Church until entering the Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center in 2004.  She participated in the nursing home activities as long as her health permitted.  Ms. Stuckey will be remembered for her great attitude and smile in spite of continuous health problems.



Ms. Stuckey was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Pearl Stuckey; sisters, Hattie Ruth (Woodrow) Gassett of Skipperville, Lettie Pearl “Peg” (Dorsey) Kelley of Skipperville; brother Cornell (Joann) Stuckey of Skipperville; sister-in-law Lucy Stuckey of Abbeville; brother-in-law Lewie Frank Trawick of Clopton; and very special nieces, Nellie Ruth Gassett and Carol Gassett of Skipperville.



Ms. Stuckey is survived by her sister, Hazel Trawick of Clopton; brother, Bill Stuckey of Abbeville; nephews Dorsey “Junior” (Anne) Kelley of Dothan, Joe (Margaret) Kelley of Brentwood, TN., Pete (Martha) Gassett of Skipperville, Billy Ray (Jan) Gassett of Skipperville and Frankie (Connie) Trawick of San Diego, CA; nieces Sara Blocker of Geneva, Ann (Charles) Mitchell of Graceville, FL., Jane (Rob) Long of Olive Branch, MS., Ms. Karen (Frank) Seger of Graceville, FL., and Mitzi Trawick of Clopton; and several great-nieces and nephews.



A special thanks to the staff and management of Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center, Southern Hospice Care, and Flowers Hospital.



Serving as active pallbearers will be, Matt Kelley, Eli Howell, Michael Gassett, Randy Agerton, Max Watson, and Neal Powell.
