Jean M. Fenn, age 93, died peacefully Tuesday, July 23, 2024, at Southern Springs Health and Rehabilitation Facility, in Union Springs, Alabama. She was a life-long resident of Mt. Andrew, Alabama.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Andrew Cemetery in Mt. Andew, Alabama with Rev. Shane Traylor officiating and Glover Funeral Home of Clayton directing. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to be given Clayton Baptist Church- PO Box 4 Clayton, Alabama 36016.

Ms. Fenn was born February 6, 1931, in Montgomery, Alabama to Thomas and Harriet Miller. She worked for many years at Van Heusen Shirt Factory in Clayton. In her younger years, while raising children, she volunteered with the youth at Clayton Baptist Church, where she and her family were members.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Ott Fenn, Sr.; three sisters, Kathleen Miller, Virginia Harmon, and Geraldine Miller.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary E. Oates (Danny) of Montgomery, Alabama and son, James O. Fenn, Jr. (Doris) of Abbeville, Alabama; three grandchildren, Kari Oates of Montgomery, Scott Fenn (Geraldine) of Wetumpka, and Adam Fenn (Meagan) of Deatsville; one niece and several nephews.

Honorary pallbearers will be Scott Fenn, Adam Fenn, Christopher Harmon, Thomas Harmon, Joseph Harmon, and Rick Bingham.
