Ms. Nancy Clark Campbell, of Dothan, Alabama passed away at her home on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was born to the late Myrtle and Leon Clark of Madrid, Alabama on November 21, 1936.
Ms. Campbell started school in Madrid, AL then transferred to the Dothan school system at a young age when her family moved to Dothan. She was a graduate of Dothan High School and a long-time member of Grandview Baptist Church. Nancy worked for many years as a buyer for a large pharmaceutical supply company in Pensacola, FL and for Scotty’s Building Supply in Okeechobee, FL. She was a breast cancer survivor and loved her family and friends, her computer, and Alabama football.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Campbell was preceded in death by her sisters, Carolyn Blakey, Martha Hayes, and Ellen Fails and her brother, Duaine Clark.
She is survived by her sisters, Sue Clark of Okeechobee, FL, Shirley McInnis and husband Walter, nieces, Marcey Ciecierski and husband, William, all of Dothan, Amy Doyle and husband Clay of Mobile, AL, Janice Hoffman and husband John of Orlando, FL; and nephews, Charles Clark and wife Virginia of Griffin, GA and Matt Dorriety and wife Josephine of Okeechobee, FL; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be at 10 AM, Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Madrid Cemetery, Madrid, Alabama with Brother Terry Hayes officiating and Ward Wilson Funeral Home directing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society or to a charity of your choice.
