Pheobie Dawn Wilson, a resident of Ozark, died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at Dale Medical Center. She was 74.

 

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2 PM Sunday, August 10, 2014 at Abbeville City Cemetery on Doswell Street with Roy Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

 

Mrs. Wilson was born in Columbus, Georgia October 2, 1939 to the late Raymond and Willie Ellen Helton Gagnon. She moved to Abbeville at an early age and was a graduate of Abbeville High School and Troy University. Mrs. Wilson began her working career at Ft. Rucker with Civil Service and retired as an instructor after many years of service. She was a person who loved people and was generous to those around her.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Harrison (Scotty), Midland City; three grandchildren, Toni Harrison, Tracy Avery, Justin Harrison; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Jo Ramey and Betty Sue Gulledge, both of Dothan; numerous nieces and nephews.
