Mrs. Roberta Weekley Dunnam, age 71, a resident of Dothan, died Thursday October 20, 2016 at the home of a son after an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday October 24, 2016 at the Cowarts Baptist Church with the Reverends Christopher Dunnam and Johnny Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Shady Grove Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery in Pansey with Glover Funeral Home directing.
The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to services Monday at Cowarts Baptist Church. Flowers will be accepted.
Mrs. Dunnam was born on October 29, 1944 in Robertsdale the daughter of Robert Newton Weekley and Flara Estelle Wallace Weekley. She was homemaker and was a member of the Spirit Filled Community Church in Cowarts.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Dunnam; infant daughter, Tammy Dunnam; sister, Frances Weekley; 2 brothers, Robert Milton and James Franklin Weekley.
Survivors include: 3 sons, Roger Dunnam (Tammy), Dothan; Darryl Dunnam (Sheila), Cowarts; Richard Dunnam (Brittany), Dothan; 4 sisters, Jean Rider-Crutchfield (Carlton), Dothan; Deloris Welch, Ft. Walton Beach, FL; Norma Bryars, Hattisburg, MS; Patsy Carver (Thad), Citra, FL; 1 brother, Charles E. Weekley, Laurel, MS; 9 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Justin Dunnam, Corey Dunnam, Chris Fennell, Gaven Dunnam, Kevin Davis.
