Ms. Tommie Nell McFall of Dothan passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at her residence. She was 84.
Graveside services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at Dothan City Cemetery with Chaplain Eddie Biss officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 to 3 P.M. Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Flowers will be accepted or contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, 1314 Westgate Pkwy St. 2, P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, AL 36302.
Ms. McFall married Master Sgt. Wayford K (Mac) McFall on April 9, 1955. They were stationed in Germany twice. She lived in Colonial Heights, Va until 1993, when she retired from Filtrona. She moved to Dothan and became involved in the Dothan Pilot Club, Alzheimer’s Resource Center, and active member of Westgate Church of Christ. She spent her time traveling with friends and loved the Atlanta Braves.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Master Sgt. Wayford K (Mac) McFall, mother, Louise Kennedy Ramsey, sister, Peggy Kennedy Shepard, and niece, Debra Nell Shepard.
Survivors include her son, Larry Forehand of Colonial Heights, Va; great niece, Jessica Shepard Carty (Mike), special great-great-nephews, Jack and Owen Carty, nephew, Stephen Shepard, aunt, Dorothy Kennedy, brother, Jimmy Kennedy, special niece, Tana McGhee, sisters-in-law, Shirley Bedford, Bonell Short, brother-in-law, Mirley McFall, nieces, Sherry Staggs, Cindy Johnson, great niece, Heather Belew (Sean), great-great-niece, Ryleigh Belew, great-niece, Holly Sills (Justin), great-great-niece, Blakeley Fills, great-great-nephew, John Pierce Fills, great niece, Hope Coffman (Michael), and great-great-niece, Haylee Coffman, great niece, Brandy Rochelle, and great-great nephew, Knox Taylor.
