Myra Hazel Hodges, 90, of Cottonwood, AL, died Thursday, December 29, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2012 in Clearman Chapel at Southern Heritage Funeral Home with Reverend Dr. Robert Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow in Hodgesville Baptist Church Cemetery with Southern Heritage Funeral Home directing.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Born in Houston County Alabama, Myra was a daughter of the late Arthur Lee and Mary Anna Faulk Hodges. She was a graduate of the University of Missouri, St. Lois with a BS degree in business. She owned and operated the Hodges Clothing Stores in Bainbridge, GA and Panama City, FL. She was a member of Hodgesville Baptist Church.

Myra was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

Surviving are a brother, Carlos Earl Hodges, Cottonwood, AL and numerous nieces and nephews to include, Lee Anna Hodges, Ryan Scott Hodges and Nina Carla Stewart.
