MYRNA MORING THOMAS
DOTHAN. . .Myrna L. Moring Thomas, a resident of Dothan, died Friday evening, August 24, 2012, in the Henry County Health & Rehabilitation Facility in Abbeville. She was 78.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Gardens of Memory, between Headland and Dothan, with Reverend Ray S. Reiley officiating. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends from 1:45 to 2:45 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Headland.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 104 Rock Bridge Road, Dothan, AL 36303 or to the Alzheimer’s Resource Center, P.O. Box 1170, Dothan, AL 36302.
Mrs. Thomas was born and reared in the Union Community of Henry County, daughter of the late Robert Clarence Moring and Addie Carrie Lee Moring. She lived in Dothan most of her adult lifetime. Mrs. Thomas was formerly employed as office manager with Thomas Trailer Court in Dothan and was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lalah Baxley and a brother, Richmond Moring.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Cherry Mack Thomas, Dothan; two step-daughters, Barbara Thomas Hendrix, Billingsley, AL; Patricia Ann Thomas, Atlanta, GA. and also the grandchildren of Cherry Mack Thomas: Dylan Hendrix, Rachel Hendrix, Jennifer Thomas and also a deceased granddaughter, Laura Bianca Thomas; a special niece, Linda Moring Floyd, Abbeville; several great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
