Mrs. Nancy Waverlyn Somerset Taylor of Ozark, Al passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018. She was 80.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home in Geneva with Rev. Tommy Conner officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Warren Holloway Ward Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday night from 6 until 8 p.m.
Mrs. Taylor was born September 27, 1937 in Enterprise, Al to the late Ernest Ezra and Nancy Mildred Carmichael Danford. She loved to cook, sew, write poetry and dance.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Carl P. Somerset, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mary and Elmer Conner and brother-in law Herman Skinner.
Survivors include her son, Earnie (Amy) Somerset of Westville, FL, 2 daughters; Carol (Jack) Sellers of Geneva and Kay (Gar) Schafer of Tallahassee, FL, grandchildren; Hunter Somerset and Forrest Somerset both of Westville, FL, Challie (Jon) Rea of Atlanta, Ga, Krista Schafer of Denver, CO, William (Kristy) Walock of Coffee Springs, AL, Breanne (Paul) Jensen, Bonifay, FL and Billy (Michelle) Sellers, Lakewood, NJ; two great-grandchildren, Autumn Walock and Mason Walock, a special friend; David Bradford of Ozark, Al,; sister-in-law, Hazel Skinner of Geneva, AL, several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
