ABBEVILLE. . .Natalie Smith Money, a resident of Abbeville, died early Thursday evening, May 26, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 64.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P. M. Sunday, May 29 2022, in the Holman-Abbeville Mortuary Chapel with Reverend Joey Hudspeth officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Sunday at the mortuary in Abbeville.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Natalie Money was born in Abbeville and was reared in Lynn Haven, Florida and the Wills Crossroads Community, near Abbeville. She was a graduate of Abbeville High School and attended Wallace Community College. Natalie was a member of the Old Zion Baptist Church. She was retired from Tridelta Systems in Abbeville as the Office Manager. Natalie was preceded in death by her father, J D Smith, her mother, Ruth Davis Smith, and two brothers, Joe Smith and Richard Smith.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Marty Money, a son, Justin Money (Jade), two daughters, Marquita Money (Brian) and Marita Ludlam (Matt), two sisters, Elma Ruth Mizell and Marsha Murphy (Brendt), a sister-in-law, Patsy Smith, all of Abbeville; a brother, Jim Smith (Debbie), Headland;seven grandchildren, Kayla Ludlam, Caleb Ludlam, Megan Ludlam, Parker Ludlam, Garrett Money, Carter Money and Conner Money; two great-grandchildren, Mason Brown and Jaxon Brown; mother-in-law, Marilyn Money; several nieces and nephews.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Matt Ludlam, Parker Ludlam, Garrett Money, Chase Murphy, Jason Smith and J W Money.
