Nicholas Ryan Fritts, 30, of Dothan passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held 2 pm Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at Sunset Funeral Home with Father Patrick Gallagher officiating.

Nicholas was born March 28, 1982 in Olean, NY and lived the early part of his life in Port Orange, FL, residing there for 10 years. He lived in Savannah, GA for 8 years prior to moving to Dothan in 2006. He was employed with Sam’s Club for the past 2 years and was also working on his college degree online. Nicholas was a veteran of the U.S. Army with 3 years of service.

Survivors include his wife Kimberly Fritts of Dothan; a son Hunter Fritts; his mother Michele Fritts of Dothan; brothers, Adam Fritts and Brent Fritts; grandmother Eileen Zapel of Dothan; an uncle Len Zapel; an aunt Laurie Meeks; cousins Gretchen Zapel and Anthony Zapel also survive.
