Mr. Benny Carol Buck, 77, of Clio, died Saturday, November 19, 2016, at his home.
A memorial service for Mr. Buck will be held 11:00 A. M. Saturday, November 26, 2016, in Logan Road Baptist Church with Reverend Peter Brent, his son-in-law, officiating. Condolences may be expressed at www.HolmanFuneralHome.com
Mr. Buck was born May 5, 1939 in Wardell, Missouri to the late Franklin and Jessie Lenora Wheeler Buck. He grew up in Lake Placid, Florida and worked for Highlands County, Florida School System as a certified school bus mechanic. Mr. Buck was a Deacon and an Elder for the First Presbyterian Church in Lake Placid, Florida and was a Pastoral Chaplain for hospitals and the prison system there. Mr. and Mrs. Buck are members of New Hope Congregational Christian Church in Clio. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed dancing with his wife and was a prayer leader for the dance group. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Clint Potter.
Survivors include his wife, Martha Williams Buck of Clio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tammia and Barry Baldino of Clio, Terri and Peter Brent of Clio; one son, Michael Buck of Yulee, Florida; one granddaughter, Bailee Buck; one sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Steve Baumgardner of Lake Placid, Florida; one brother, James Buck of Lake Placid, Florida; three half-sisters, Molly, Candy, and Suzanne; his sister-in-law, Myra Williams of California; his brother-in-law, C. W. Williams (Connie) of Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Logan Road Baptist Church Youth Ministry, 3955 Will Logan Road, Ozark, AL 36360.
