Greg was the founder of a homeless outreach ministry in Palm Beach County; the Palm Beach County Rescue Mission, at First Baptist Church, Rivera Beach, Fl. Most recently he worked in property management, providing affordable housing for families. Greg served on the founding board of the Association of Christian Thrift Stores, a national membership organization with the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions. Gregory held the commission of Colonel in the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonel. He was a member of Boca Raton Community Church, and enjoyed the worship and the strong biblical teaching and preaching. Greg loved the ocean, boating and fishing. His love for mechanics, cars and trucks is legend. Greg was a big man, with a big heart. To know Greg, was to love him. Family was at the core of his person. He had a strong sense of heritage and loved his “sweet home Alabama”.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Christian ministries that help people in need.
