OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK ~ 334‑774‑5348
Mr. James Darrell Eastman, 65, of Ozark, died Thursday, March 5, 2015, in Oakview Manor Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be graveside 2:00 P. M. (EST) Tuesday, March 10, 2015, in Fort Mitchell National Cemetery with Reverend Charles Melvin officiating. Interment will follow with Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. Mr. Eastman was born November 26, 1949 in Houston County, Alabama. He was the son of Jim Eastman and Jean Thomley Eastman. He was a graduate of Carroll High School and served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Eastman owned and operated Eastman Construction Company and loved to go fishing. He attended Bethel United Methodist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Eastman. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Lyn and Timmy McDaniel of Ozark; and his lifelong friend, Debbie Mahaffey Eastman of Ozark.
