Mr. James Lusk “Bud” Love, Jr., 86, of Ozark, died Saturday, April 29, 2017, at his home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 4, 2017, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Pastor Greg Doss officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Military Honors, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday, May 3, 2017, from 4:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M.
Mr. Love was born March 7, 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late James Lusk Love, Sr. and Mary Diaz Love. He served in the United States Army in Korea until he was medically discharged. He was awarded the Purple Heart with Oak Leaf Cluster for injuries sustained in the Korean War. Mr. Love was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 94. He was an honorary member of the Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club and an avid fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Beatrice Love; and two brothers, Arther Love and Robert Love.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Emily Desilets Love of Ozark; one daughter, Debby Randall of Ozark; four sons and one daughter-in-law, Daniel Ward of New Hampshire, James L. Love III of Massachusetts, A. Duane Ward of Ozark, James Lawrence and Doris Love of Westfield, Massachusetts; three sisters, Rita Marcilla of Florida, Dolly Proctker and Patricia Gagnon of Massachusetts; one brother, Billy Love of Florida. Nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren also survive.
