OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK
Mr. John Andrew Everett, age 22, of Ozark, died Saturday morning, October 13, 2012, as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Funeral services will be 10:30 A. M. Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Steve King officiating. Interment will follow in Concord Methodist Church Cemetery near Skipperville, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mr. Everett was born March 27, 1990 in Dothan, Alabama. He graduated from Carroll High School in 2008, attended Wallace College, and the Alabama Aviation and Technical College in Ozark where he was working toward his A & P License.
He had worked with his grandfather at Ozark Peanut and Fertilizer since he was a teenager. Andrew was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Marilyn Garner Thompson.
Survivors include his parents, Steven J. and Paige Thompson Everett of Ozark;
one sister, Rebekah Everett of Ozark; one brother, Tullie Everett of Ozark;
his maternal grandfather, Wilton Thompson of Ozark;
his paternal grandparents, Edward and Martha Everett of Ozark;
aunts and uncles, Dr. Allison and Dr. George Graves of Point Clear, Alabama, Heather and Wes Jones of Port St. Joe, Florida, Ivy and Steve Centanni of Semmes, Alabama, Kitty and Gary Cathcart of Madison, Alabama, Eddie and Diana Everett of Ozark, Richard and Evelyn Everett of Ozark. Several cousins also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his memory to Ozark Baptist Church, 282 South Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360.
