Mr. Mark Thomas Wilson, 51, of Newton, died Thursday, January 11, 2018, in Flowers Hospital.
Funeral services will be 4:00 P.M. Monday, January 15, 2018, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Bobby Ned Peters officiating, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Sunday at the funeral home in Ozark from 3:00 P. M. until 5:00 P.M.
Mr. Wilson was born April 5, 1966 at Fort Rucker, Alabama to the late John Thomas Wilson and Verona Estelle Newton Wilson. He was a graduate of Carroll High School and had worked as a dental technician for over twenty-six years. He enjoyed Alabama football and hunting. Mr. Wilson was a devoted father and grandfather who always put everyone else before himself. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sheila Head.
Survivors include two sons, William (JP) Wilson of Headland and Eros Zamora-Arriaga of Newton; one daughter Teshy Zamora-Arriaga of Newton; two sisters, Tina Bennett of Ozark and Lisa Pruett (Donald) of Daphne, Alabama; three brothers, Jackie Sellers of Tallahassee, Florida, Matthew Wilson of Newton and Tim Wilson (Paullytie) of Hartford. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 1449 Medical Park Drive, Birmingham, Alabama 35213.
