Mr. Ralph Eugene Condrey, 85, of Opp, Alabama, died early Saturday, July 11, 2015.

Mr. Condrey was born July 1, 1930, in the Rocky Head Community of Dale County to the late Allie Thomas Condrey and Vernie Medley Condrey. He was a volunteer fireman for twenty-six years with the Alvin Fire Department in Alvin, Texas, where he received the fireman of the year award. Mr. Condrey was a member of Glory To Him Fellowship in Ozark. He loved and cherished his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mr. Condrey enjoyed fishing and hunting. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Marshall and Joyce Condrey; one brother, Ray Condrey.
Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Betty Wilson Condrey of Opp; three daughters and sons-in-law, Denise and Steven Palmer of Pearland, Texas, Venetta and James Steven England of Alvin, Texas, Tracy and Ray Margraves of Alvin, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Pat Condrey of Opp, Ralph Jr. and Mandi Condrey of Pearland, Texas; one sister and brother-in-law, Thelma and Jim Ansbach of Headland; eleven grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren.
