OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK ~ 334‑774‑5348
Mr. Roscoe Delton (Del) Agerton, 85, of Ozark, died Monday, June 1, 2015, at his home. Funeral services will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday, June 4, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend William Hart officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M. Mr. Agerton was born August 28, 1929 in Dale County to the late Roscoe Agerton and Lizzie Jane Hughes Agerton. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Agerton owned and operated an electronics sales and repair store in Enterprise from 1962 until 1965. He worked as an electronics instructor at Napier Field from 1965 until 1968. In 1968 Mr. Agerton moved to Atlanta where he opened an electronic consulting firm, and in January of 2003 he returned to Ozark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Codi Kay Agerton; and one brother, Ted Agerton. Survivors include his wife, Amma Devine Agerton of Ariton; one daughter and son-in-law, Barbara Kay and Larry Young of Panama City, Florida; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Kyle Agerton, Kerry and Jaye Agerton all of Lynn Haven, Florida; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Thompson of Ozark, Maxine and Don Ezell of Dothan; one brother and sister-in-law, Billy and Anne Agerton of Lilburn, Georgia; sister-in-law, Marie Agerton of Ariton; two grandchildren, Trevor Kraus and Nicole Kraus.
