OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK ~ 334‑774‑5348
Mrs. Betty Jean Cobb Morrow, 86, died Sunday morning, April 24, 2016 in a Dothan hospital following a short illness.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from Ozark Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Steve King and Reverend Jeff Hatcher officiating. Interment will follow in Westview Memorial Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Tuesday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.
Mrs. Morrow was born July 14, 1929 in Andalusia, Alabama to the late Tommie E. Cobb and Clyde Leslie Johnson Cobb. She graduated from Andalusia High School in 1947. Mrs. Morrow moved to Ozark in 1954 where she was employed as a medical receptionist in the office of Dr. Taylor D. Caffey for twenty-eight years until her retirement. She returned to work part-time for five additional years. Mrs. Morrow was a member of Ozark Baptist Church and the Coed 1-A Sunday School Class. She served as a member and past president of the Maude Martin Study Club, also a member and past president of the Ozark Service League. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Bobby W. Cobb of Gantt, Alabama.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Willie Morrow of Ozark; two sons and two daughters-in-law, William Steve and Karen Morrow of Steamboat Springs, Colorado, Jeffrey Alan and Sherry Morrow of Evans, Georgia; three grandchildren, Ansleigh C. Morrow of Columbia, South Carolina and Mary-Kate Morrow of New York City, Madison W. Morrow of Birmingham, Alabama; two sisters, June Findley of Dothan, Barbara Wilson of Longview, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy R. and Madge Cobb of Andalusia, Alabama; one sister-in-law, Earnestine Cobb of Gantt, Alabama. Many nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ozark Baptist Church, 282 South Union Avenue, Ozark, Alabama 36360; or to Westview Memorial Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 484, Ozark, Alabama 36361.
