OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK

     Mrs. Elizabeth Ardis McErvin, age 60, of Ozark, died January 1, 2013 in Noland Hospital at Southeast Alabama Medical Center.


     Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday, January 4, 2013 from Greater Old Salem Baptist Church, Reverend J. D. Hillsman, Pastor,  and Reverend George Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


     Mrs. McErvin was born April 30, 1952 in Dale County to the late Coy L. and Lillie Pearl Blackmon Ardis.  She had worked in home health care as a nursing aid. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Freda Ardis. She leaves to cherish her memory three children, Anthony Ardis of Huntsville, Elizabeth Marie and Habakkuk Kincey of Ozark, Tameka McErvin and Stanley of Ozark; eight sisters and two brothers, Pearl Camper of Ozark, Bernice Ramsey of Ozark, Ellawese Ardis of Ozark, Jeremiah and Linda Ardis of Huntsville, Tollie Mae and Robert Thomas of Ariton, Evon and Fred Alvin of Enterprise, Oscar L. Ardis of Huntsville, Dorothy and Roy Pierson of Ozark, Brenda and Harry Jones of Enterprise, and Zena Ardis of Enterprise. Seven grandchildren, eighty-five nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and friends also survive.
