OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATIONS OF OZARK ~ 334‑774‑5348
Mrs. Ernestine Childree Aman, of Ozark, died Saturday, May 16, 2015, in Dale Medical Center. She was 91 years old. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 23, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Saturday from 12:30 P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International, P. O. Box 291, Ozark, Alabama 36361. Mrs. Aman was born February 4, 1924 in the Arguta Community of Dale County to the late Alto Franklin Childree and Era Preston Childree. For the past several years she and Robert resided together at Ozark Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was a former member of Ozark Baptist Church, Daleville Baptist Church, and for the last thirty years she was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church in Arguta. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Eunice Peeples, Carolyn Leach and Joanne Urban. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Robert Aman; her daughter, Beverly A. Ketcham (Jimmy); her son, Steven Aman; grandchildren, Sam Perry, Matt Perry (Stacey) and their child, Kennedy; Rachel Aman; and step-grandson, Jason Ketcham (Sara) and their children, Sandralynn and Aubrey. The family expresses their gratitude for the loving care given by the staff at Ozark Health and Rehabilitation especially to the ladies on Meadow Hall.
