Mrs. Gloria Faye Ziglar Willoughby, 71, of Ariton, died Sunday, December 31, 2017.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 4, 2017, from Rocky Head Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Weed and Reverend Joe Underwood officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Thursday in the church from 10:00 A. M. until service time.
Mrs. Willoughby was born June 2, 1946 in Ariton, Alabama to the late Dawson Ziglar and Bennie Ruth Senn Ziglar. She worked in the lunchroom with Ariton High School and later with the Vinyard in Ariton. Mrs. Willoughby was an excellent seamstress and loved working with flowers in her yard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one nephew, Johnny Gunter.
Survivors include one daughter, Beverly Woodham of Ozark; two sons and daughters-in-law, Paul and Michelle Willoughby of Lubbock, Texas and Kelly and Michelle Willoughby of Ozark; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Mary Gunter of Phenix City, Rebecca Wallace of Naples, Florida, and Frances and Ron Moates of Dothan; one brother, Byron Ziglar of Ariton. Six grandchildren, one great grandchild, several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Olive Cemetery Fund, C/O Mr. Gerald Goodson, 1681 Hwy 51, Ariton, Alabama 36311.
