Mrs. Millery Jewell Key Miller, 84, of Ozark, died peacefully Sunday, September 30, 2018.
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 3, 2018, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Ricky Bruner officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memory Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Ozark Wednesday from 9:30 A.M. until service time.
Mrs. Miller was born August 13, 1934 in Skipperville, Alabama to the late Benjamin Porter Key and Dovie Segars Key. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and a homemaker who loved her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, William Thomas “Bill” Miller; two sisters and six brothers.
Survivors include one son, William Miller of Ozark; three daughters and sons-in-law, Diane and LaDon Portwood, Debbie Miller Powell, Barbara and Clarence Metcalf all of Ozark; eleven grandchildren, Leslie Kirkland, Craig Portwood, Chad Powell and Lynsey Powell, John Seifert, Danielle McGuire, Allison Wise, Michael Metcalf, Maggi Quinn, Betsy Green, and Baylor Miller; eighteen great grandchildren; two sisters, Versie Aycox of Mineola, Texas and Jean Callahan of Belton, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Mallie Rogers of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
