OBITUARY FROM HOLMAN FUNERAL HOME OF OZARK



Mrs. Johnnie Mae Cook Patton, age 88, of Ozark, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, August 16, 2012, after a short illness.


Funeral services will be 10:00 A. M. Saturday, August 18, 2012, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home in Ozark with Reverend Tim Burgess and Reverend Paula Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Daleville Memorial Gardens, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5:00 P. M. until 7:00 P. M.


Mrs. Patton was born February 23, 1924 in Skipperville to the late R. D. Cook and Lillie Mathis Cook. She was a member of Ozark Praise and Worship. Mrs. Patton loved her family, loved her flowers, and she loved her Lord. She will greatly be missed by all. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Charlotte Yocom; two sisters, Edna Smith and Doris Smith; and her brother, Dewitt Cook.


Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tex and Julie Gill of Ozark; one sister, Rachel Rogers of Ozark; sister-in-law, Rose Cook of Columbus, Georgia; seven grandchildren, Bobby Brown of Newton, Gil Brown of Daleville, Ferrell Gill of Dothan, Dawn (Gill) Densel of Ozark, Angel Doran of Daleville, Webster Gill of Jacksonville, North Carolina, and Dustin Kimbrough of Tampa, Florida.
