Mrs. Paula Roberts Willis, 89, of Ozark, died Friday, January 23, 2015, in Ozark Health and Rehabilitation.
Funeral services will be 6:00 P. M. Saturday, January 24, 2015, in the Chapel of Holman Funeral Home and Cremations in Ozark with Reverend Meghan Kelley and Reverend Dr. Billy D. Gaither officiating. Interment will be 10:00 A. M. Sunday morning in Skipperville Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home of Ozark directing. The family will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home in Ozark 5:00 P. M. until service time at 6:00 P. M.
Mrs. Willis was born June 3, 1925, in Skipperville, Alabama to the late William Floyd Roberts and Amanda Lee Dora Shirah Roberts. She received a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and taught school at Mixon Elementary School. She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ozark. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rupert Willis; two sisters, Maureen Hubbard and Jean Smith; and one brother, LaJoie Roberts.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dan and Billie Jean Faust of Braselton, Georgia, James and Geraldine Faust of Ozark; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Carol and Thomas Parker of Ozark, Hazel Buckner of Enterprise; six grandchildren, Danae McCarty, Kari Scott, Amanda Faust, Ashlee (Kevin) Stephens, James P. Faust, Jr., and April Wells. Eight great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Skipperville Cemetery Fund, C/O Mrs. Faye Huey, 3489 County Road 50, Ozark, AL 36360.
