Obituary from Holman Funeral Home and Cremations – Ozark, AL


 


Mrs. Peggy Sue Bell Jamison, 74, of Ariton, the Rocky Head Community, died Monday, May 15, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.


Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, May 18, 2017, from Rocky Head Baptist Church with Reverend Bill Weed and Reverend Joe Underwood officiating.  Interment will follow in Mount Olive Cemetery, Holman Funeral Home and Cremations directing.  The family will receive friends Thursday morning at the church from 9:30 A.M. until service time.


Mrs. Jamison was born February 8, 1943 in the Rocky Head Community to the late Alvie Horace Bell and Myrle Hall Bell. She was an active member of Rocky Head Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her family and creating flower arrangements.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Jamison; one sister, Jo-Kate Bell; one brother, Donnie Bell.


Survivors include two daughters, Stephanie Wise of Rocky Head, Holly (Tony) Taylor of Ashford; four sons, Clint (Tracy) Wise of Ariton, Richard (Sharon) Wise of Prattville, Barry Wise of Climax, Georgia, and Jason Keirnan of Rocky Head; two sisters, JoAnn Bell and Tammy Watson of Ariton; two brothers, Horace Bell, Aaron (Jeanette) Bell of Ariton.  Several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
