Odie Lee Cotten Rainer age 98, a resident of the Florala Health & Rehabilitation center, passed away Monday, July 29, 2019. Funeral services will be held at Hayes Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, August 2, 2019 beginning at 12:00 PM with Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Hayes Funeral Home. Visitation will be held at Hayes Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Mrs. Rainer was a member of the American Rosie the Riveter Association due to her service at the Wainright shipyard in Panama City, Florida.

She is survived by her Daughter - Mavis Cotten Grimes of Opp, AL, Son - John C. Cotten, Jr., Beckley, WV, Son - Jerry (Sue) Woodard, Panama City Beach, FL, along with Grandson - Chad Blasi, Freeport, FL, Granddaughter - Camilla Blasi of Denver, CO, and four great grandchildren Bella, Zoe, Nix, and Hale.

She was preceded in death by her parents Cammie Nichols Hale, and Wiley Griggs Hale, along with two husbands John C. Cotten, Jr., and L.S. Rainer, Sr., as well as a daughter Mary Grace Cotten, and two sons William Cotten, and Sammie Joe Cotten.
