     Oliver Williams, 94, of Albany, GA departed this life Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at his residence in Albany, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at First Methodist Church Enterprise, Alabama on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Matthew Jordan, Senior Pastor, officiating. Committal services will follow at Meadowlawn Memorial Park cemetery. Visitation will be at First Methodist Church Enterprise, Alabama on Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the First Methodist Church Library P. O. Box 311525 Enterprise, AL 36330.
 
Oliver served his country as part of the Army 82nd Airborne Division, then continued serving his fellow man as an Insurance Agent forming lifelong bonds with the families he served.  His path made it possible for the family to live in Elba, Alabama, for 15 years where the community rallied around the family and loved them in many ways.  He then moved to Enterprise, Alabama, for 53 years where the family was shown the same love and support.  He was a member of the Elba Methodist Church and a member of the First Methodist Church Enterprise and was active member at each church.  He also served each community in many different ways.  His love for God and family was always very evident. Honorary Pallbearers are Ross Cotter and Jon Chancey.
 
Survivors include: Wife, of more than 73 years, Patricia Ann “Pat” Williams, Albany, GA, Son - Anthony (Julie) Williams, Leesburg, GA, Grandson - Benjamin (Britton) Williams, Chattanooga, TN, Granddaughter - Olivia Williams, Chattanooga, TN, Step Grandson - Captain Stone (Allison) Williford, Spanaway, WA, Step Grandson - Slate Williford, Marietta, GA, Step Grandson - Steel Williford, Tifton, GA, Step Great Grandson - Grey Williford, Spanaway, WA, and Step Great Granddaughter - Sage Williford, Spanaway, WA.
 
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his Father - Leonard Johnathon Williams, Mother - Julia Caroline Williams, a Brother - Robert Tarry Williams, A Sister - Velma Caroline Padgett, a Son - Michael Oliver Williams, and a Daughter In Law - Joyce Ann Williams.
