Mr. Otto Dell Allen, age 91, a resident of Dothan died Thursday, March 21, 2013 at Wesley Manor following an extended illness.

 A private family graveside service was held Friday, March 22, 2013 at the Dothan City Cemetery with Kendall Glover of Glover Funeral Home directing.

 Mr. Allen was born on October 10, 1921 in Houston County.  Mr. Allen worked as a truck driver for Bordon’s and Dairy Fresh for many years.  He later worked in insurance sales with Independent Life Insurance Company and Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company.  Mr. Allen was a graduate of Dothan High School and was a long time member of Southside Baptist Church.

 He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Jewell Allen and daughter, Marilyn Joyce Allen; sisters, Lucille Smith and Ozzell Dykes.

 Survivors include a son, Greg Allen, Dothan; several nieces and nephews.
