Mrs. Patricia H. Hopkins, 80, passed away peacefully at Signature Health Care in Graceville, FL on Sunday, December 2, 2018.

Funeral services will be held at Cedar Springs Baptist Church in Ashford, AL on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 2:00 pm with Rev. William Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Robert Byrd directing. Prior to the services, visitation will be held at the church from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Mrs. Hopkins was born on April 6, 1938 to Rev. & Mrs. William Wright Hall. She was a 1956 graduate of Ashford High School. She was employed with GTE in Dothan for many years and Graceba Telephone in Ashford where she retired in 1983.

Mrs. Hopkins is preceded in death by the late Arthur Joe Vaughn, her husband, David Hopkins of Ashford, her brothers, James Hall, Preston Hall, David Hall, and Charlie Hall all of Dothan, her sisters, Virgie Skipper of Headland and Maggie Hicks of Ashford, and by her grandson, Kevin Godwin of Newton, AL.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Doug and Teri Goff of Ashford; her grandson, Kyle Logan Godwin of Troy, AL; her 2 sisters, Bernice (J.W.) Hicks of Ashford and Dorothy Peoples of Navarre Beach, FL; and an abundance of nieces and nephews.

Serving as active pallbearers will be Doug Goff, Clay Peoples, Danny Hicks, and Johnny King.
