Patricia “Susie” McKenzie of Enterprise, AL passed away Sunday, July 14, 2024 in Tuscaloosa, AL. She was 61 years old.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory Chapel with Rev. Julie Conrady officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:30 PM until service time.

Susie loved to take care of animals, feeding over a dozen neighborhood cats. She loved Alabama football, to shoot pool, and listen to classic rock. She spent her time watching any kind of crime dramas she could find. Susie loved all of her friends and somehow loved her family more.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Jewell Dean McKenzie; Grandparents, Charlie & Estelle Dean, and Joseph & Elouise McKenzie.

Survivors include her daughter Jacqueline McKenzie, Northport, AL; Granddaughters, Cheyenne McKenzie-Erdman, and Senna McKenzie-Erdman; Father, William McKenzie, Kinston, AL; Sister, Faye Tubre, Deatsville, AL; Brothers, Carl McKenzie, New Brockton, AL, Charles McKenzie (Ann), Enterprise, AL; Nephews, Michael McKenzie, New Brockton, AL, Jeffery Baxley, Deatsville, AL, Joseph McKenzie, New Brockton, AL; Niece, Kimberly Tubre, Deatsville, AL; Great-Nieces, Maralin McKenzie, and Danielle Shackleford; Grant-Nephews, Caden McKenzie, and Anthony McKenzie; Family Friends, Susan Herring, Deacon Quincy, and Andrew Kirkpatrick.
