Patrick Eugene Williams passed away due to a short illness at Wiregrass medical center on Friday, March 17, 2023. He was 88 years old.
Funeral services will be held at Bottoms Chapel Funeral Home in Geneva, AL on Sunday, March 26, 2023 with Bro. Ricky Seales officiating and under the direction of Jimmy Bottoms of Bottoms Garden Chapel Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. til 2:00 p.m. and the funeral will follow. Pat will be laid to rest following at Pleasant Home FWB Church Cemetery- 207 Dave Mixon Rd Black, AL 36314.
Friends and family are welcome to come to Pats Home following the burial for refreshments and fellowship. If anyone wishes to bless the friends and family with food or refreshments Pat’s home is were family and friends will be Saturday and Sunday.
Pat was born in Geneva, Alabama on December 25, 1934, to the late Fred and Bera Williams. Pat was a 1955 graduate of Geneva high school, where he was a star athlete in most sports, especially football. In 2019 Pat was elected into the panther Hall of Fame. He was so honored. After high school, Pat married Sue Pridgen Williams to whom he was married for 64 years. They had two children, Tony and Tracy. Pat worked at Clinton Mills and joined the Alabama National Guard, where he worked, served ,and retired from both. After retirement, Pat spent his time fishing and enjoying friends and family. Pat will be so missed by so many.
