Patrick “Lynn” Granger, funny fellow never met a stranger: that was Patrick Lynn Granger. He died unexpectedly from injuries sustained in an accident on July 4, 2023.
Memorial services to celebrate his life will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 2023 at Glover Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Billy Rich officiating and Glover Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. on Saturday prior to service time.
A lifelong resident of Dothan, Lynn was born October 5, 1965 to Kenneth Edward and Dollie Lou Reynolds Granger. He was a 1984 graduate of Northview High School and later received his Associates Degree in drafting at Wallace Community College. He was employed with the Bondy’s Nissan/Ford family as a service writer for the past several years. Lynn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cottonwood.
He is predeceased by his father, Kenneth Edward Granger, former father-in-law, Johnny Dykes, aunts and uncles, Bobby Granger, Charles Cannon, Peggy Madison and Bill Madison; both sets of grandparents, Edward and Dorothy Merle Granger and Alfred and Ruth Reynolds, all of Dothan.
He is survived by his mother, Dollie Granger of Dothan; a daughter, Breanna Bell (Jordan) of Dothan, a grandson, Brodie Bell of Dothan; former wife, Joy Dykes Granger of Dothan; aunts, Sue Cannon of Pensacola, Florida and Patricia Granger of Dothan; former mother-in-law, Patricia Dykes of Cottonwood; former brother-in-law, Benny Dykes of Ooltewah, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews; many cousins and friends.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Northview High ‘Class of 1984’ and Neal Madison, Troy Jones, Blake Cannon and Scott Powell.
