Patrick Sterling Yeargain, a resident of Andalusia, AL, passed away early Sunday morning, March 19, 2017. He was 86.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, March 24, 2017 in Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30-1 pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Church of Andalusia, 700 E 3 Notch Street, Andalusia, AL 36420, or to your favorite charity.

Mr. Yeargain was born on March 12, 1931. He grew up in Sikeston, MO. Mr. Yeargain moved to Andalusia in the 1950’s. He and his wife, Louise Yeargain, were active members of the Happy Travelers RV Club and were square dancers into his late 70’s.

Mr. Yeargain was preceded in death by his son, Jeff Yeargain of Ann Arbor, MI.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Louise Yeargain; his son, John Edwin (Lee); his daughter, Betty (Owen); his son, Greg; and sons, John and Robert Rudd; his grandchildren, Bobby, Allison (Joe), Ashley (Brian), Angie (Ben), John (Mallory), and Elizabeth (James); and many great and great-great grandchildren.

Serving as active pallbearers will be John Searcy, Jr., James Landwerlen, Ben Blaxton, Bobby Colquitt, Jordan Makuch, and Joey Makuch.
