Pat Perkins was born June 10, 1943 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas, daughter of the late Louie Ralph Adkins and Janie Bernice Stripling Adkins. She lived in many locations due to her father serving in the military. Pat spent most of her school years in Michigan. After graduation from high school, she moved to Colorado Springs, Colorado where she was employed by NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) in a secretarial position for eight years. While there, Pat received her pilot’s license and enjoyed taking short trips with her friends. She moved to Marietta, Georgia around 1976 to be near her parents who had moved back to Alabama. Pat was employed by Price Waterhouse until she retired. She enjoyed spending time with all her special friends in Marietta. Due to declining health, Pat moved to Dothan to be near her family. She resided at The Terrace at Grove Park from 2022 until 2024 when she moved to Wesley Place on Honeysuckle where she passed away. Pat enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her beloved dog, Lola. Pat was a pleasure to be around and was fun loving and had a great sense of humor. She will be missed and fondly remembered by her many cousins who visited and participated in her care.
Surviving relatives include numerous cousins.
Special thanks to her friends who kept in touch by phone, Joe Corsi, Judy Chambers, Virginia Johnston, Therese Sanfelippo and Karen Everett. Thank you for making her feel loved and remembered.
