A celebration of Patsy's life will be held at 2 pm on Monday, June 10, 2024, at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Following the ceremony, Patsy will be laid to rest in Sunset Memorial Park, where her memory will be honored by all who visit. Friends and family are invited to gather and share memories of Patsy at the funeral home on Monday from 1-2 pm, before the service begins.

Patsy Delois Johnson Greenslet, known affectionately to friends and family as Patsy, passed away peacefully on June 5, 2024, after an extended illness. Born on January 2, 1945, in Maryland, Patsy's gentle and selfless nature was evident from a young age. She carried these qualities with her, through life's journey to Dothan, Alabama, where she would eventually say her final goodbyes surrounded by the love of her family.

Patsy was the beloved wife of Daniel Greenslet and a devoted mother to her son, Robert (Melinda) Greenslet. Her role as a grandmother to Willow King, Madison King, and Marcus Shadwick filled her days with joy and purpose. Patsy's analytical mind and love for fun found a perfect balance in her favorite pastime, playing BINGO at Country Crossing, where she was a cherished member of the community.

Before becoming a homemaker, a role she embraced with dedication and love, Patsy's Maryland roots instilled in her a strong sense of family and tradition. Her home was a warm and welcoming place, where everyone was treated with kindness and respect. Patsy's life was a testament to her unwavering care for others, and she will be remembered for the comfort and support she provided to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Patsy's life was a beautiful reflection of the values she held dear. Her gentle presence could calm any storm, her selfless actions inspired generosity in others, and her analytical mind brought wisdom to every conversation. She was a beacon of light in her community and the anchor of her family. Patsy's legacy will continue to live on through the love she shared and the lives she touched.

As we bid farewell to Patsy Delois Johnson Greenslet, we take solace in knowing that her spirit will forever remain a guiding force in the lives of those she loved. Her memory will be cherished, her contributions to our lives honored, and her love felt eternally. Rest in peace, dear Patsy, until we meet again.
