WEBB, ALABAMA. . .Pauline Jones Hamm, a resident of Webb, died early Tuesday morning, June 21, 2016, at her home. She was 76.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M Thursday, June 23, 2016, in the Webb Baptist Church with Reverend Joel Laseter officiating. Burial will follow in the Webb Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary & Cremations is in charge of arrangements. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Thursday in the church sanctuary.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 1512 West Main Street, Dothan, AL 36301.
Mrs. Hamm was born in Columbia and was reared near Shorterville, daughter of the late Zack Becham Jones and Gladys Paulk Jones. She moved to Webb in 1975 where she was a member of the Webb Baptist Church. Mrs. Hamm was formerly employed as a seamstress for many years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Randy Jones and William E. Jones, and a great-grandson, Austin Lee McNeal.
Surviving relatives include her husband, Edsel Ford Hamm; a daughter, Paula Hamm Vinson, and a son, Eddie Chris Hamm, Sr., both of Webb; six sisters, Geraldine Hall and Earnestine Woods both of Dothan; Betty Jean Singletary, Auburn; Noreen Whitestone (Bill), Panama City; Jeanine Tew (Randall), and Maxine Martin (Craig), all of Headland; a brother, Bill Jones (Nell), Ft. Deposit; a sister-in-law, Sue Jones, Webb; three grandchildren, Eddie Chris Hamm, Jr. (Angie), Dorothy Kaye Dukes (Johnathan), and Jason Lee McNeal; six great-grandchildren.
Serving as active pallbearers will be Tim Woods, Brent Cartwright, Kenny Hall, Justin Jones, Trent Jones and Jack Webber.
