PEARL  WINDHAM  GULLEDGE



MIDLAND CITY…Pearl Windham Gulledge, a resident of Midland City, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday morning, March 07, 2013, at her home. She was 89.


            Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, March 09, 2013, in the Holman-Headland Mortuary Chapel with her son-in-law, Reverend Mark Brackin officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the mortuary in Headland.


            Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Gentiva Hospice, P.O. Drawer 2127, Dothan, AL 36302.


Mrs. Gulledge was born and reared in Dale County, daughter of the late David Wright Windham and Robbie Doster Windham. She lived in Napier Field many years before moving to Midland City in 1982. Mrs. Gulledge was a member of the Napier United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Gulledge, Sr.


            Surviving relatives include two daughters, Dale Gulledge, Montgomery, AL; Connie Gulledge Brackin and husband, Reverend Mark Brackin, Dothan; a son, Roy A. Gulledge, Jr. and wife, Linda Ward Gulledge, Midland City; two brothers, A.J. Tice, Cottonwood; James Randall Tice and wife, Geraldine, Napier Field; four grandchildren, Chad Gulledge (Amy), Keshea Harman (Greg), Eric Brackin (Whitney), and Kyle Brackin; nine great-grandchildren, Hunter, Dylan, Abigail, Anna-Katherine, Tripp, Ella, Jack, John, and Ben.


            Serving as active pallbearers will be the grandsons, great-grandsons, and grandsons-in-law.
