Pearlie Mae Thompson, age 88, of Daleville, AL, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020.   She was born in New Brockton and a lifelong resident of the County Line Community.


Funeral services will be held at County Line Baptist Church on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. with Dr. Danny Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church beginning at 10:00 A.M.  on Monday. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to County Line Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 1000 Highway 92, Enterprise, AL 36330.


Pearlie was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Rex Thompson, and her daughter Shelia Ann Waters, along with three sisters and a brother.


Survivors include her sons, Roger Wayne Thompson (Brenda), Knoxville, TN; Ronald Timothy Thompson (Cathy) Charleston, SC; Rex Allen Thompson Dothan, AL; and sister Maxine White (Griffin) Dallas, GA. Her seven grandchildren were also dearly loved: Amanda Thompson Roten, Christopher Thompson, Samantha Thompson, Roger Thompson Jr., Samuel Thompson, Joseph Waters and Keegan Thompson, along with four great-grandchildren.


Pearlie was a loving mother and grandmother, always vested in the success of and support of her children and grandchildren. She took joy in taking care of her family and her home, and in her relationship with her Lord.
