PEGGY CHRISTENSEN
TAYLOR…Peggy Christensen, a resident of Taylor, Alabama, died unexpectedly Wednesday morning, July 23, 2014, at her home. She was 52.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, July 25, 2014, in the Crossroads Baptist Church, Westgate Parkway, Dothan, with Reverend Josh MacCormack officiating and a eulogy to be given by Brother Mark Ammons. Burial will follow in the Columbia City Cemetery. Holman-Headland Mortuary is in charge of funeral arrangements. The family will receive friends10:00 until 11:00 A.M. Friday in the church sanctuary.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the John Conti Work Center, 3100 Redmond Road, Dothan, AL 36303.
Peggy Christensen, daughter of the late Homer John Christensen and Marjorie Lenora Williams Christensen, was born in Blakely, Georgia and reared in Columbia, AL. She lived in Columbia most of her lifetime, where she attended the Houston County High School. Peggy moved to Dothan in 2000 and was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Darrell Kilcrease and an infant brother.
Surviving relatives include three sisters, Marilyn Strickland (Shelton), Dothan; Yvonne McCall (Tim) and Carolyn Christensen, all of Taylor; a brother, Michael Christensen, Dothan; and a special friend, Joel Holland, Ashford.
